04-26-2021: IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS that that I share this news with everyone: Joseph Robert Tuszynski of Whitney Court has passed on after a month-long battle with COVID-19. Joe was a loving husband, father of two, Board member, neighbor and friend. He was one of the most giving and kind people anyone could ever come to know. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be at Wujek-Calcaterra (25 Mile & Van Dyke) on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2:00pm-9:00pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 1, 2021 starting at 11:00am.
04-13-2021: The Results Are In! Every year, we hold an election for the Board of Directors positions. The Whitney Estates Subdivision Association (WESA) Board of Directors consists of five (5) homeowners. Each Board of Director position carries a 2-year term. To maintain continuity from year to year, two positions are up for re-election during even-numbered years, and three positions are up for re-election during odd-numbered years. For this year's annual Board of Directors election, there were three (3) positions open. Here's the final tally:
04-04-2021: **IMPORTANT** This year's 2021 Annual Association Meeting, originally scheduled for April 13, is officially cancelled due to the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in and around the Shelby Township area. We will post the annual meeting presentation on this website and will answer any questions you have via email. Voting will still take place as required, so be sure to have your ballots post-marked no later than April 13, 2021. If you plan to vote in this year's election, please understand we must have a valid, signed Voting Representative Designation Form (VRDF) on file for your vote to count as per the Whitney Estates Subdivision Association By-laws. You can mail your VRDF and/or completed ballots to: W.E.S.A. Annual Election, P.O. Box 858, Washington Twp., MI 48094, or hand-deliver to 10444 Pavillion Ct. Votes cast without a signed VRDF on file cannot be counted. Please vote, and please stay safe and healthy!
02-10-2021: Important reminder for everyone: Please do not shovel snow from your driveways into the street! We pay to have the streets cleared, and although it may create an inconvenience when the plow goes by and leaves a ridge at the bottom of your driveway, you are creating a hazard for everyone else by pushing or blowing the snow back into the street. There is a Shelby Township ordinance against this, and you could be cited and fined for this action.
